NOTICE REGARDING
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, AND/OR AUDIO RECORDING OF EVENT
When you enter the TigerCon event, you will be entering an area where photography, video and audio recording may occur.
The Central Missouri Scale Modelers club (hereafter CMSM) takes photographs and/or makes audio and/or video recordings of people involved in TigerCon activities and/or events. CMSM staff may use such photographs or video records to recall activities or participants. In addition, such photographs and audio/visual recordings may be used in TigerCon and/or CMSM publications, internet, and/or advertising materials to let others know of our event. In addition, local news organizations may hear of our activities or events and CMSM may allow them to record the event for news reporting on special interest features.
By entering the TigerCon event premises, you consent to: photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for live streaming, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on web sites, and/or any other purpose by TigerCon and CMSM. You release TigerCon and CMSM and Hickman High School, its organizers, promoters, staff, employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, and/or publication of photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.
By entering the TigerCon event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, posting, streaming, webcasting, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by TigerCon and/or CMSM or the person or entity designated to do so by TigerCon and/or CMSM.
None of the recorded media so obtained at the TigerCon event will be used for commercial and/or for-profit purposes.
You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
NOTICE REGARDING HEALTH RISKS
Being in public places poses an inherent risk of being exposed to the COVID-19 virus (hereafter C19). The Central Missouri Scale Modelers club and the IPMS, cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to C19 during your visit.
The Central Missouri Scale Modelers club will use increased cleaning and health precautions for contestants and visitors during all TigerCon events. C19 is an extremely contagious disease that can possibly lead to serious illness or death, especially for those who are considered as having susceptible conditions. Contestants, guests, and visitors, should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend the TigerCon event. The CDC advises that those who are particularly vulnerable, including those over 60 and those with underlying health conditions, may be at higher risk for severe symptoms. Even those with no symptoms can spread the virus if infected. Interaction with others at the event poses a risk of contracting C19.
By attending a TigerCon event, you voluntarily acknowledge and agree that you assume the risks associated with attendance.
